Meet the managing partner

KAS Accountants Limited is based in West London and aims to service clients in various sectors including business start-ups and entrepreneurs. The firm particularly focuses on servicing clients within the entertainment and media industry and currently services clientele which include actors, TV & film directors, script and comics writers and musicians.

The partner and director of the firm is Mr Kaleem Ahmad Saeed and he is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Kaleem's background and working in general practice spans nearly 15 years and he has gained his experience through servicing clients in various sectors within small and medium-sized accountancy firms based in Glasgow and London.

Kaleem believes in becoming actively involved with his clients, advising clients on the importance of cash flow management, identifying opportunities where clients can save money, reducing their tax liabilities and increasing profitability. Kaleem also enjoys and relishes the challenge of working with new entrepreneurs who are trying to implement newly formed business ideas and become business leaders of the future.

Kaleem says "if you want to be an entrepreneur and have a good idea then take a leap and go for it as long you understand some basic concepts.

You need to start off with a viable business plan and then once you get started make sure that your income covers your expenses leaving you with enough money to pay yourself, cover your expenses and pay any potential tax bill to HMRC; you understand the importance of cash flow management; and how to market your business by understanding your target market whilst being aware of what your competitors are doing. If you understand these basic concepts then you are on your way.
